Arrival in Greece, the land of the mythical Gods and ancient civilization. From Athens International Airport you will be welcomed by your private driver and English-speaking escort for your transfer to the city of Athens. Arrival at your hotel and check in. Remainder of day at leisure.
Oct 10 – Tuesday | Athens

After breakfast, join your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel for transfer to the port of Piraeus. Travel to Naxos by scenic local ferry, traversing the Aegean Sea (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival in Naxos you will be met for your transfer to the Naxos Resort hotel, in Agios Georgios, close to Naxos Town. Remainder of day at leisure.
Oct 12 – Thursday | Naxos
Stroll to an ancient marble quarry, where you will visit the famous monumental statue of Kouros, which rests among olive trees, before continuing to the village of Galini for your cooking presentation. Discover fascinating insight into creating a special local recipe and take away some exceptional new cooking skills. Enjoy an exclusive culinary experience in the heart of the fertile valley of Galini. In the kitchen of a friendly local Greek woman, enjoy a Naxian cooking demonstration of authentic home-style Naxian recipes with a focus on local culinary traditions, handed down from generation to generation on the island. Finally, take a leisurely scenic drive admiring some of Naxos’s most beautiful landscapes as you travel through the Melanes region amid small settlements, vines, and olive and lemon trees. Pass by the 11km aqueduct, built between the 6th and 8th centuries A.C. eventually providing all the regions with water.

Oct 14 – Saturday | Naxos to Mykonos
Today we transfer by fast ferry from Naxos to Mykonos. Upon arrival in Mykonos, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.
Oct 15 - Sunday| Mykonos
Join your guide in the lobby of your hotel and head to the island’s winery where you will have the opportunity to taste three different wines along with an assortment of local cheese products (xynotiro, kopanisti, louza, and bread). Grown on one of the highest point of Mykonos, the grapes produce some very interesting varieties of wine. Your tour continues to the famous beach, Ornos. A variety of local appetizers (known in Greek as “Meze”) await along with a glass of ouzo; a local product with a strong aniseed taste. Following your Meze tasting, drive back to Mykonos town where you will enjoy a walking tour of the town’s highlights: The Windmills, Little Venice, Paraportiani Church, the Town Hall, the Fish Market, and Mando square. Part of your visit is a stop at the Matsouka store, so popular it has opened branches in most Greek towns. You will see a wide selection of dry nuts, sweets and enjoy a glass of mastic liqueur.

Oct 17- Tuesday | Mykonos to Santorini
Today we depart by fast ferry from Mykonos to Santorini (approx. 2 ½ hours). Upon arrival in Santorini you will be met for your transfer to the Santorini Palace Hotel in Fira town. Remainder of day at leisure.
Oct 18 - Wednesday| Santorini
See the highlights of beautiful Santorini on this memorable scenic tour around the rural countryside. Stroll along the cobbled paths of some of the most picturesque villages on the island, and explore Santorini’s unspoiled rural communities, before having an exclusive wine and beer tasting experience. Visit a long-established winery and catch a glimpse into the production of wine, sampling some of Santorini’s internationally-awarded wines. Stop in at a unique microbrewery and try three varieties of distinct beers full of aromas and flavour. Your local guide will lead you off the beaten track to meet and talk with locals about their professions and crafts. Wonder in amazement at houses carved into the side of the rock face and pass through the settlements of Pyrgos, Exo Gonia and Mesa Gonia.
